YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A North Carolina man has died after he fell off a horse in South Carolina last weekend.
The Herald of Rock Hill reported that York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said 68-year-old Ted Johnson of Charlotte, N.C., died Monday night.
Gast said Johnson was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte after falling off the horse in Fort Mill on Saturday.
Gast said the cause of death has not been determined, although he was injured in the fall.
Johnson and two friends were riding when he fell.
