CHARLOTTE — The city of Charlotte’s interim attorney will be on the job longer.
Leaders voted 7 to 3 to extend Anthony Fox’s contract.

Fox has been controversial after city leaders voted to settle with Chief Johnny Jennings.
He previously said he was not interested in his contract being extended.
A pool of full-time candidates will be presented to the city council in August.
