U.S. Rep. Alma Adams, D-Charlotte, is bringing Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles to Washington for Tuesday night’s State of the Union address.

Adams highlighted Charlotte’s use of COVID-19 funding and the newly established Charlotte Mayor’s Racial Equity Initiative.
The mayor said she is honored to attend.
