Charlotte Mayor Kinsey answers questions from public

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — For the first time, new Charlotte Mayor Patsy Kinsey had to answer tough questions from the public Monday night.

The Mecklenburg County Democratic Party hosted a town hall at the Little Rock Community Center.

City Council gave updates on major issues Charlotte is handling, like the airport authority, and Kinsey pointed out that she is proud to serve as mayor.

City Council picked Kinsey to serve when Mayor Anthony Foxx resigned.

She will serve until December, when a new mayor is .elected.
