CHARLOTTE — Hundreds of volunteers with Charlotte Motor Speedway spent Wednesday serving others in the community.
From a brand new fish pond to freshly painted flowers, they brought new life to a home for adults living with developmental disabilities.
More than 100 staff members volunteered to beautify the facility, as well as two others in Cabarrus County.

“We’re known for fun events, but we want to be more than NASCAR races, drag races, and car shows. A very important part of what we do is to be able to serve,” said Jonathan Coleman, Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Senior Director of Communications.
