CHARLOTTE — As the year ends, so does a family-owned diner in north Charlotte.

The Village Restaurant has been open since 1965, but the Graham Street property was sold and its lease was not renewed.
The owners at The Village Restaurant posted on its website thanking customers for making it a place “where laughter echoed, friendships grew, and memories were made day after day.”
