Charlotte woman recovering from COVID-19 admits she didn’t social distance

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As more people are infected with the coronavirus, there are also a lot of people recovering from it.

Nationally, more than 460,000 people have gotten COVID-19 and more than 25,000 have recovered, including people in the Carolinas.

“I wasn’t taking it seriously. I had the selfish mindset, if I get it I’ll be fine. I’ll survive it because I saw on the news, it was old people," said Raven McGregor.

But many people who get the virus aren’t social distancing.
