CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, N.C. — The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating recent thefts of copper from Sandhill Telephone pedestals.
The thefts have occurred along Ruby-Hartsville Road, Middendorf Road, and Ousleydale Road. Deputies are asking residents who live in or travel through the affected area to remain alert.
Authorities are urging the public to watch for suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals near the roadside telephone pedestals, particularly during unusual hours.
