SHELBY, N.C. — A Shelby church cancelled its services Sunday after the building caught fire.
Dover Baptist Church posted about the fire shortly after 8 a.m.
Shelby Fire and Rescue says multiple departments helped put out the flames.
The fire destroyed the building, but the church is not sure what started it.
No one was hurt.
Investigators say no foul play is suspected.
“Praying for those affected by this fire,” Congressman Tim Moore said on Facebook. “Thank you to Shelby Fire & Rescue Department and our first responders for all they do to protect our communities.”
