Churches hold drive-in service for people in Mecklenburg County

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — For the first time in weeks, some churches were able to once again have services in front of people but not exactly in a church.

After Mecklenburg County altered its stay-at-home order, they were able to have services but with some restrictions.

“It’ll touch your heart when they come driving in and waving at each other through closed windows, but at least they have an opportunity to be together,” said Jerry Alexander.
