CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It could be decided Monday night if tax money will be used to turn two abandoned mills in NoDa into apartments.
A private company recently bought the mills and started making improvements.
But the company realized the buildings are in worse shape than first thought, so it wants an additional $2.4 million from the city.
Eyewitness News has gotten a mixed response from City Council members about the request. They are expected to discuss it at Monday’s meeting.
