CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three teens are facing multiple charges in connection with an armed robbery at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of Frew Road in the Sugar Creek community.

Two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy, who cut off his ankle monitor, had two firearms on them at the time of their arrests, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Victims in an apartment complex said the boys pointed guns at them and demanded money and property from them.
The assailants fled on foot and were later apprehended by police.
One of the suspects sustained minor injuries after a K-9 bit him. The teen refused to be taken to the hospital.
A suspect had one of the victim's cellphone on him.
A witness later said they saw the three robbery suspects getting out of a stolen car in the 3600 block of North Graham Street.

- Possession of a concealed weapon
- Possession of a handgun by a minor

- Possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felony possession of stolen goods
- Suspect was on electronic monitoring but cut his monitor
15-year-old male juvenile

- Carrying concealed weapon
- Possession of a handgun by a minor
