CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police announced a search for a missing man with dementia on Sunday.
Ikechukwu “Ike” Joseph Obiora, 70, had last been seen leaving his home at the 3000 block of Brownes Creek Road on Sunday around 7 a.m.
His family said he has dementia. A silver alert request was submitted for him.
Obiora was believed to be traveling in a silver 2013 Toyota Venza with no tag.
He is described as a 6-foot-2, 207-pound black male with brown eyes and black or gray hair.
Police located him later that same day.
