CMPD: Two girls reported missing in east Charlotte found safe

CHARLOTTE — Two girls who were reported missing in east Charlotte have been found safe, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Police said nine-year-old Addison Torres and 12-year-old Charielys Nazario were last seen Tuesday evening at their home on Firelight Lane near Albemarle Road.

On Wednesday, CMPD announced that both girls were found unharmed, and they have been reunited with their families.
