CMPD: Shooting in north Charlotte sends 1 to hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was shot in the 8200 block of Ainsworth Street, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

That person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to MEDIC.

The incident is under investigation.
