CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a strip club near uptown early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the Uptown Cabaret around 2 a.m. and found a female patron who had been shot in the foot.
Investigators said two people were fighting in the parking lot when a bullet ricocheted and struck the woman in the foot. She ran into the club for help and that's when police were called.
No arrests have been made.
