CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools will hold the first of five community meetings this week ahead of some major budget decisions.
School leaders are considering controversial issues, such as advertisements on buses, cell towers on school property and fees for take-home student laptops.
The first community meeting will be at West Charlotte High School on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The school district would like for parents to fill out an online survey, click here to be taken to that site.
