A CMS music teacher latched onto an idea to lift the spirits of her students with a little rhythm and harmony, and she is using it to keep her students engaged and smiling.

“The power of music, I see, it can make people happy,” said Shanaya Graham, teacher at Walter G. Byers Elementary School. “It can make people change for the better and also it’s comforting. It connects us all. It’s universal.”
