CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools is partnering with StarMed to bring COVID-19 testing and vaccines to more students ages 5 and older.
Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available.
There is no cost for the test and referrals are not necessary.
Walk-up patients are welcome, as well.
A StarMed medical staff member will be on site to collect a nasal swab sample for the COVID-19 rapid test. Results will take about a day, and patients will be notified via email or text message.

- Rocky River High School, 10505 Clear Creek Commerce Dr., Mint Hill (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
- Garinger High School, 1100 Eastway Dr., Charlotte (8 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- James Martin Middle School, 7800 IBM Dr. Charlotte (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
- Waddell Language Academy, 7030 Nations Ford Rd., Charlotte (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
- Barnette Elementary School, 13659 Beatties Ford Rd., Huntersville (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
