HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools confirmed a student was found with a BB gun Thursday.
The BB gun was found at J.M. Alexander Middle School in Huntersville.

The district said this is the 26th gun found this school year. Channel 9 has counted 30 total, including pellet guns that have been found on campuses.
Authorities have not said if the student will face charges.
