CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Eyewitness News confirmed that an investigation into Commissioner Harold Cogdell's relationship with a nonprofit health center found there were no violations.

An investigation was launched in December when Cogdell was accused of pushing the county to give extra funding to C.W. Williams Community Health Center.

He later took a position providing legal services within the company.

The County hired U.S. ISS Agency, LLC, to complete the investigation.

Their report concludes that "it is our opinion that Mr. Cogdell did not violate the Code of Ethics for Mecklenburg County."

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners will discuss the findings during their regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
