County commissioners approve terms to developer for Brooklyn Village in uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Brooklyn Village is one step closer to reality in uptown Charlotte.

County commissioners approved terms of agreement with the developer.

The county is requiring at least 115 affordable housing units, a minimum 1.6-acre park, preservation of MLK and Holocaust memorials and 31,000 square feet of non-chain retail.
