CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Central Piedmont Community College is holding its annual career fair Thursday.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is in its 24th year.
More than 40 businesses registered to participate in the event, including representatives from industries like health care, hospitality and public safety.
During last year’s event, nearly 2,000 candidates -- both Charlotte residents and CPCC students and graduates -- met with potential employers, the school said.
