GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A crash involving a front-end loader and a van has shut down part of a Gaston County highway, police dispatchers said.
Dispatchers said they received the call around 10:45 a.m. about the wreck on Charles Raper Jonas Highway, also known as Highway 27.
One person was taken to Caromont Regional Hospital. It's not clearly how badly the person was hurt.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
