CHARLOTTE — Fire crews quickly controlled a fire in southeast Charlotte Wednesday night.
It started around 10:30 p.m. in a detached garage at a home on Gate Post Road.
It took 30 firefighters about 11 minutes to control the blaze.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Investigators determined an electrical failure sparked the accidental fire, leading to an estimated $35K in damages.
