CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities said everyone was OK after a boat ran aground on Lake Norman late Monday night.
The accident happened near Kiser Island Road in Catawba County around 10 p.m.
A fisherman nearby heard the accident and called 911.
Rescue crews told Channel 9 that the boat hit a causeway and some rocks.
One person on board had some head injuries but officials said they would be OK.
