LAKE NORMAN, N.C. — A Lake Norman dock caught on fire and spread to two boats Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Crews from the East Lincoln Fire Department responded to the fire in the Denver area of the lake.

It’s unclear how the fire started.
The fire department deployed Fireboat 33, which is station on Lake Norman. It was the boat’s first emergency response.
