Some local school districts have modified classroom instruction on Tuesday due to weather conditions. Their decisions came as a dense fog swept through the area, turning to a freezing fog in some counties. Temperatures hovered near freezing in most counties Tuesday morning so the fog had potential to create slick roads in some areas.
