ROCK HILL, S.C. — A man is in jail, accused of driving drunk and leading deputies on a dangerous chase through Rock Hill.
A York County deputy said he tried to pull Travis Knight over early Sunday morning, but said Knight sped away, through neighborhoods and traffic lights.
A state trooper was afraid someone would get hurt or killed if the chase continued, so he pulled in front of Knight and caused a crash to end the chase, according to officials.
Channel 9's partners at The Herald report Knight is wanted in another state, but it's not clear what for.
