Deputies respond to bomb threat at Chester County manufacturing plant

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — The Chester County’s Sheriff’s Office is responding to a bomb threat Friday morning at a manufacturing plant.

Deputies said they were called around 10:15 a.m. to the Carolina Poly Plant on Lancaster Highway in Chester for reports of a bomb threat.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division’s bomb squad was also called in for assistance.
