RICHMOND COUNTY, N.C. — Richmond County deputies are searching for a rapist.
They released a composite sketch of a black man, between 40 and 50 years old, with short hair.
An 18-year-old girl told officers he forced his way into her home in Hamlet when she answered the door.

She said the rape happened in September, but her attacker threatened her if she told anyone.
