CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Cabarrus County deputies arrested Meredith Simmons, who they said sexually assaulted a 6-year-old boy.
Deputies said she committed the crimes between June and July of this year while the boy's father was at work.
Investigators said the boy reported the abuse to the Department of Social Services.
