CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have made four arrests, including one juvenile, after a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday night in north Charlotte.
Jyasin Kasion Dearmon, 20, was killed in the shooting in the 900 block of West Sugar Creek Road and another person was taken to the hospital. Police said that person should survive.
On Friday, police charged Tiberius Rashayn Lee, 18, Emanuel Cuffie, 20, and a 17-year-old juvenile for the murder of Dearmon. They were also charged with conspire to commit robbery with dangerous weapon and attempted robbery with dangerous weapon.
Police said they pulled over a vehicle of interest on Wednesday afternoon and arrested Jawonn Mcllwain, 22, for having a concealed weapon.
Homicide detectives interviewed McIIwain and charged him with murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiring to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
