None — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested a man they said exposed himself to women in the Dilworth area while riding a bike.
Michael Adams was arrested at his home on Linwood Avenue Monday afternoon. He is charged with exposing himself to a woman near Dilworth Elementary and another woman on East Park Avenue.
Police are also investigating whether Adams is connected to other recent flashing reports as well.
Prince Pegeuese is one of Adam's neighbors. He saw police take him into custody.
"I saw his bicycle in the back of a police cruiser and I thought he had stolen a bike or something," said Pegeuese.
Neighbors told Eyewitness News Adams did not own a car and likely rode his bike more than five miles from his home on Linwood Avenue to get to the Dilworth area.
The crimes he is now accused of committing there left his neighbors uneasy.
"You think you know them and come to find out you really don't," said Pegeuese.
Another flashing was reported on a greenway near Dilworth. Area jogger Chad Smith was relieved to hear about Adam's arrest.
"It's a very good thing." Smith said, "I'd feel more comfortable with my fiancée coming out here for a run or walk, if that's the case."
Adams is not listed on the N.C. sex offender registry, but he does have a criminal background that includes arrests for breaking and entering and assault.
