CHARLOTTE — Want to get a free ticket to the Carolina Renaissance Festival and help a child in need at the same time? We’re collecting coats for our annual 9 Coats for Kids Drive, and you can get a free admission for a child 12 and under when you donate.
Channel 9 will be at the Carolina Renaissance Festival this weekend, Oct. 17-18, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can also meet Severe Weather Center 9 Chief Meteorologist John Ahrens on Saturday morning, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Donate a new or gently used coat, and you’ll receive a free admission pass for a child 12 and under; and it can be used that same day.
Our annual 9 Coats for Kids Drive has helped tens of thousands of children across the Carolinas for more than two decades.
