ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police said the driver who hit an 11-year-old riding their bike to school in Rock Hill Friday morning ended up in jail, even though the collision wasn't her fault.
Investigators told Channel 9 the child on the bike pulled in front of Brandee Barber's car just before 8 a.m. near Eden Terrace Road and Nations Ford Road.
[DUI suspect says she's a 'white, clean girl' who shouldn't be arrested, police say]
The child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but police said Barber was driving drunk.
She was charged with DUI.
