CHARLOTTE — Channel 9 learned that CMPD has turned to an ad agency to try and fill officer vacancies, which have reached more than 150.

“We are already seeing a significant uptick in our applications, going to ramp that up in the first of April,” CMPD Chief Kerr Putney said.
