MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Federal agencies raided a home Friday morning in east Mecklenburg County that is connected to a meth operation, according to sources.
The FBI, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the Union County Sheriff’s Office and two animal control vans went around 6 a.m. to the home and spent all morning there.
A Channel 9 crew on the scene witnessed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives agents taking guns and military-style boxes filled with ammunition out of the home on Albemarle Road.
