Firefighters, sprinklers help put out Huntersville restaurant fire

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Firefighters in Huntersville were on the scene of a fire at a restaurant Tuesday morning.

Crews responded to Yoshi's Grill on Gilead Road just after 8:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the building.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control around 8:45 a.m. and said sprinklers were activated.

Firefighters said the fire started near a washing machine and the restaurant was closed at the time.

No one was hurt.
