CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A hundred workers are losing their jobs after an engineering and construction company said it will close its Charlotte office.
Fluor Enterprises will shut down the Piedmont Row Drive facility Sept. 30.
Officials said the decision was made "due to unforeseen business circumstances."
This past week, the company announced losses of $24 million in its second quarter.
