FORECAST:
- On Monday highs are expected to be in the low 80s with plenty of sun.
- Tuesday and Wednesday will be just as sunny, with a few degrees shaved off the temperature each afternoon.
- Clouds will begin to increase by Thursday, ahead of Tropical Storm Ian. Highs will be in the low 70s as the storm approaches the Gulf Coast.
- Tropical Storm Ian is currently in the process of strengthening and is expected to become a hurricane on Monday.
- Models still don’t totally agree on the projected track, but the most likely timing for impacts across the Carolinas will be on Friday and Saturday.
