MONROE, N.C. — Monroe Animal Control responded to a call about a rooster that “woke up and chose violence.”
A rooster began pecking and attempted multiple “aerial attacks” on the mailman.
Animal Control said they responded and took the “fathered trouble maker into custody.”
They said it is now safe for mail delivery to resume.
