NEW LONDON, N.C. — A fugitive with ties to a homicide in California was arrested in Stanly County.
Sheriff deputies and FBI agents arrested Derek Williams at a home in New London.
He was wanted in connection with a murder near Los Angeles.

Williams is being held in the Stanly County jail until he's extradited to California.
