TROUTMAN, N.C. — Family and friends will say goodbye at a funeral Thursday to a Troutman man, and NASCAR crew member, who was killed in a car crash.
Michael Adam Wright was traveling on Flower House Loop in Troutman when he ran off the road and hit a tree, our partners at the Statesville Record and Landmark report.
The 33-year-old worked for Junior Motorsports owned by Dale Earnhardt Junior.
The team released a statement extending its thoughts and prayers to Wright's family and called him a friend.
