CORNELIUS, N.C. — A NASCAR driver who lived in Huntersville will be laid to rest on Wednesday.
Jason Leffler died on a dirt track in New Jersey last Wednesday when his car crashed into a wall moments after the race started.
Leffler leaves behind his 5-year-old son.
The funeral is set for Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius.
Instead of flowers it is suggested that people donate to a trust fund in support of his son.
