CHARLOTTE — The future of the Discovery Place Nature Museum in Dilworth could become clearer Thursday night.

Mecklenburg County commissioners are weighing whether to take over the newly built museum or allow it to open on a repayment plan after the museum said it cannot pay the county back $14.6 million in construction costs.
County manager Mike Bryant is scheduled to go over lease negotiation talks.
