GA woman to seek mental evaluation after pointing gun at US Congressman

A Georgia woman must undergo a mental evaluation after, police say, she pointed a gun at a United States congressman Sunday night in South Carolina.

Spartanburg police say that Gloria Brackett pulled a gun on Rep. Trey Gowdy Sunday night in the parking lot of a church in downtown Spartanburg.

Brackett believed that Gowdy was following her.

Gowdy was at the church waiting in his truck to pick up a family member. No one was harmed during the incident.
