GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A woman accused of shooting her children remains in jail with no bond more than 10 days after the shooting happened.
Officers charged Tina Payne with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Arrest warrants said Payne's 15-year-old daughter was in the bathroom of the home on Saint Marks Street when she placed a gun to the girl's head.
The warrants state the girl screamed for her 28-year-old brother, who wrestled the gun from his mother.
The two children were shot in the incident, but are OK.
