GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Gaston County man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a deadly crash two years ago.
A jury convicted Eric Taylor of several charges including second-degree murder, our partners at the Gaston Gazette reported.
Taylor was drunk when he crashed into Vance Avery’s vehicle in Mount Holly in 2015, authorities said.
Avery later died.
This was the second time Taylor caused a deadly crash after drinking, prosecutors said.
The first was in 1997.
