GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Gaston County police arrested a wanted fugitive.
They say Johnny Whitley was wanted on multiple felony warrants including kidnapping and assault on a government official.
When officers tried to pull him over, they say he took off early Sunday morning.
They were able to flatten his tires and arrest him near Belmont.
He’s being held without bond.
